The 51-year-old was arrested by authorities in Belgium on Friday September 2. “He was intercepted yesterday afternoon at the wheel of his vehicle on a motorway west of Brussels. After spotting the fugitive, authorities were able to arrest him. “He was wanted for having fled after having knocked down and injured two French gendarmes during a check at his home”, explains Julien Gasparutto. “Today it was heard by an investigating judge here in Brussels. Belgian justice will rule in the coming days on a probable extradition to France”, reports the journalist. The man had previously served time in prison in the UK.
