A day of trial and a day of campaigning. In the United States, the time of verdict is approaching for Donald Trump. The final arguments in his trial in New York took place Monday, May 28, in the Stormy Daniels case. Donald Trump is a “jester” which could well become “a tyrant”. The words are those of Robert de Niro, New Yorker and notorious anti-Trump.
The actor came to lend a hand to the Democratic camp at the foot of the Manhattan courthouse. “He has no place in my citysays Robert de Niro. I don’t know where it belongs, but certainly not here. We New Yorkers tolerated him when he was just a grubby real estate scammer posing as a big shot. A mediocre playboy who made his way into the tabloids. He’s a clown. And this town makes room for clowns.”
“This person can’t run the country. This isn’t working! We all know that!”

Donald Trump denounced yet another attempt “interference” electoral. Far from this agitation, the twelve jurors had to remain focused.
Faced with the defense’s pleading, the latter calls for an acquittal “quickly done well done” of the billionaire. The former president is the first in history to be criminally targeted, accused of having bought the silence of former porn actress Stormy Daniels to avoid a scandal before his election in 2016 and of having, for this, falsified accounting documents.
Before an indictment lasting more than five hours from the prosecution, describing a Donald Trump “conspirator” ready for any manipulation to stifle his affair with Stormy Daniels. It will now be up to the jury to decide in the coming days or weeks.
A verdict designating Donald Trump “guilty” is entirely possible. It would be a political earthquake less than six months before the presidential election. But whatever happens, the decision of these twelve New Yorkers will not prevent the ex-president from being a candidate in next November.
