American actor Robert de Niro, 79, has announced that he recently became a father. This is the actor’s seventh child.
During an interview with the television channel ET Canada broadcast on Monday, the winner of two Oscars corrected his interlocutor who was referring to his six children. It is “seven actually”replied the actor. “I just had a baby”, he said, without giving any indication. His agent confirmed the news to AFP.
Robert de Niro had two children with his first wife Diahnne Abbott, who starred alongside him in Taxi Driverand two with actress and singer Grace Hightower from whom he has been separated since 2018. He also had twins with model Toukie Smith, with whom he had a relationship in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The actor is currently promoting his latest comedy, My dad and mewhich is set to hit theaters in the United States on May 26.
