Robbery in Sainte-Adèle, in the Laurentians

An impressive robbery occurred Sunday in an inn in the Laurentians and at least one gunshot would have been shot in the building.

Around 6:30 p.m., the Sûreté du Québec of the MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut received a call mentioning that two individuals had entered the bar of the Auberge des Monts, located on rue Saint-Joseph in Sainte-Adèle, in the Laurentians.

Several customers and staff members were inside the establishment at the time of the incident.

According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), no person was injured during the incident, but by consulting security videos posted on social networks, we see a masked man firing in the direction of a customer.

Still according to the videos, we can see a man threatening the people who were in the bar, while another hurried to empty the cash register.

According to the Sûreté du Québec, “there were no injuries” and no suspect had been arrested at the time of writing these lines.

On Monday, the Auberge des Monts posted screenshots, the videos captured, as well as a brief description of the thieves on its Facebook page in order to obtain help from the population.
