No travel time or traffic information this morning on the information panels of the Ile-de-France roads. Due to a computer failure, the variable message signs do not work, indicates the Direction des Routes d’Ile-de-France (DiRif).
The road information site Sytadin is also affected. At 9.30 a.m., it indicated 0 km of traffic jams and specified that “alerts are temporarily unavailable”. “Following a computer failure of our traffic management assistance system (SIRIUS), the traffic state maps on Sytadin are not filled in or incorrect”, says Sytadin’s Twitter account.
“On the road, the messages on the Variable Message Signs which had remained lit with erroneous messages are now extinguished, however messages may still be displayed on certain signs, they are erroneous”.
