Road network | Some major hindrances are expected in Greater Montreal this weekend

In addition to the partial closure of the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, major road obstructions are to be expected for the weekend of November 18 to 21, particularly on Route 132, the Saint-Pierre interchange and Highway 40 .

Route 132 and Marie-Victorin Boulevard

In Brossard, one out of three lanes of Route 132 will be closed eastbound, under the Samuel-De Champlain bridge. Eastbound Marie-Victorin Boulevard, between the eastbound A-10 exit and the next entrance, will therefore be closed.

A detour will be possible via the ramp for Highway 10 eastbound by making a U-turn at exit 11, via the ramps of the A-10/A-30 interchange.

The ramp for boulevard Marie-Victorin eastbound, at exit 6 of highway 10 east (A-20 east, A-15 south/R-132, Varennes/La Prairie), will also not be accessible. You will have to take the ramp for Boulevard Marie-Victorin Ouest, make a U-turn at Boulevard Matte for Boulevard Marie-Victorin Est and continue on the previous detour.

Saint-Pierre interchange

MAP PROVIDED BY THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT

Until Monday morning, there will be a complete closure of the Saint-Pierre interchange ramp leading from route 138 east (coming from the Honoré-Mercier bridge) to the A-20 west/airport.

From Saturday 7 a.m. to Sunday 11 p.m., two lanes out of three will be closed on Route 138 eastbound, between Clément Street and the interchange. The rue Clément entrance will therefore not be accessible for the weekend.

Honoré Mercier Bridge

MAP PROVIDED BY THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT

On Sunday, only one lane will be available on the Honoré-Mercier bridge towards Kahnawake (R-138 west). The Airlie Street entrance for Route 138 West remains open. Please note that there is a risk of congestion near the bridge, since work is in progress.

Highway 40 in Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue

Highway 40 eastbound, between exit 41 (boulevard des Anciens-Combattants) and the next entrance, will be completely closed. You will have to take the service road.

Remember that 3 lanes out of 6 are closed in the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel. Only one lane is open towards the South Shore and two towards Montreal, until November 2025.
