The collision between the motorcycle and the SUV took place on Highway 15, just before the Highway 640 interchange, near Boisbriand, on Monday around 1 p.m. An attempt to change lanes would be in question.
Who made the wrong move? “The ramp at this location has two lanes, but it is unclear which of the two [véhicules] hooked the other, so I couldn’t tell you,” said Stéphane Tremblay, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ).
The motorcyclist, a woman in her 50s, was hospitalized with serious life-threatening injuries. An SQ reconstructionist was sent to the scene to investigate the collision.
After being partially closed, Highway 15 was reopened to traffic late Monday afternoon.
