The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) does not report any injuries.
According to what was told to the police, four people traveling around 11:30 p.m. in a compact car on Avenue Jean-Darcet opened fire near the intersection of Avenue Charles-Renard, in a residential sector of the Rivière-des-Prairies district.
The projectiles were fired a few dozen meters from the building housing a daycare center which was hit by gunfire earlier this week, at the intersection of André-Ampère and Charles-Renard avenues.
An investigation will be opened by the SPVM on the new incident.
