Dorothée, superstar of TV programs for young people and singer for children from 1977 to 1997, will be one of the voices of Transformers: Rise of the Beastsseventh episode of the saga, expected in theaters on June 7, announced Tuesday Paramount Pictures France.

The host will voice Airazor, a female falcon expert in aerial reconnaissance “who is not afraid to operate alone and to fly without reinforcement in the face of certain danger”underlines the production. “Who better than the idol of the 90s, the one who imported manga and major animation series to France, to embody wisdom, power and benevolence?”, adds Paramount.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts takes place in the New York of the 1990s. Optimus Prime and his acolytes are once again preparing to challenge Unicron and the Decepticons, supported by a new category of Transformers: the Maximals.

Dorothée had participated in the dubbing of “Garfield et Cie”

Dorothée, 69, who has interpreted the credits of several series and mangas, has already participated in the dubbing of several films including Garfield and Co. (2013). In the cinema, she starred in love on the run by Francois Truffaut The mouth of the other by Pierre Tchernia Heads or Tails by Robert Enrico, and much more recently Nicky Larson by Philippe Lacheau. In 2010, after thirteen years of absence, Dorothée returned to the stage for a series of concerts at L’Olympia and Bercy.
