On stage, he offers 5 major arguments such as the defense of abortion by Gisèle Halimi or the argument of Paul Lombard who attacks the death penalty by wanting to avoid capital punishment for Christian Ranucci. For him, there is a big difference between actors and lawyers because the latter write their texts. It’s their take on the story, with huge stakes in their hands.
Richard Berry likes that the spectators find themselves in the place of the jurors and ask themselves the question of what they would have done at the time of the trial. The show was so successful that a “Pleadings 2” is in preparation.
