More than a year after his daughter Coline’s complaint, actor Richard Berry was finally heard by investigators from the Minors Protection Brigade on Tuesday, according to a source familiar with the matter who confirms information from the M6 channel. Targeted by serious accusations of “rape and sexual assault on a 15-year-old minor by ascendant” and “corruption of a minor” by his eldest, he was received for a free hearing.
Very serious accusations for facts that allegedly took place in the mid-1980s when Coline Berry, born in 1976, was between 8 and 9 years old. Potentially prescribed, they are still the subject of an investigation opened by the prosecution. The same investigators had received the actor’s daughter a few weeks after his complaint, in February 2021 for her to deliver her version.
In it, she notably accused her father of subjecting her to certain sexual games in the company of the one who shared her life at the time, the singer Jeane Manson. She immediately filed a defamation complaint, a trial which took place in April 2022 and which she won at first instance. Coline Berry immediately appealed this decision.

Richard Berry, meanwhile, had posted a long message on his Instagram account and denied “with all (his) strength and without ambiguity these filthy accusations“.”I have never had inappropriate or incestuous relations with Coline, nor with any of my children” he assured. He is the father of two other daughters, Joséphine, born in 1992 and Mila, born in 2014 from his current union with Pascale Louange.

Coline Berry-Roijtman is supported by her ex-husband, producer Romain Roijtman, who testified in The Parisian : “Coline’s personality makes lying impossible for her. I spent fourteen years with her: this incest has always been very present in our lives“, he explained. Her cousin, Marilou Berry and her aunt Josiane Balasko have also been behind her since the very first moments.
Richard Berry remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the trial.
