Thursday, the Union of Professionals of the Government of Quebec (SPGQ) announced that its members had voted in a proportion of 93.4% in favor of a strike which would be exercised on evenings and weekends.
Now it is the turn of the Union of Public and Parapublic Service of Quebec (SFPQ) to let it be known that it invites its members to vote in favor of a 10-day strike mandate.
The members of the SFPQ will decide on this subject by the national holiday, said Patrick Audy, vice-president of the union, in an interview on Friday.
The SPGQ represents at Revenu Québec professionals in taxation, collection, information technology and human resources, among others.
The SFPQ notably represents support, office, technician and information clerks.
For these two major unions, the wage issue is in dispute.
