Revenge porn: an influencer sues her ex-boyfriend for more than 6 billion

A Florida influencer is suing her ex-boyfriend for leaking intimate sexual photos of her without her consent.

Mikayla Saravia, 25, who has more than 8 million Instagram followers, is filing a $6.3 billion lawsuit from Nicholas Hunter, with whom she was in a relationship for five years. Their relationship ended last October.

The young woman, who also actively feeds an OnlyFans account and a Twitter account, this paying platform for erotic content launched in 2016, alleges that Mr. Hunter took possession of her account, and therefore of her numerous content, following their rupture, according to information provided by South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Ms. Saravia heavily promotes her OnlyFans content to her Twitter and Instagram followers. In particular, you can find a good number of suggestive photos and videos to encourage them to subscribe to OnlyFans.

Ms. Saravia’s lawyer, Joseph DiRuzzo, acknowledges that his client did indeed consent to sexually explicit content, but on a consensual basis, and at a time when she had control over posts on her social media.

“The defendant used the OnlyFans account to sell sexually explicit photos and videos of the plaintiff from material he had harvested prior to the start of their personal relationship and [professionnelle]wrote Mr. DiRuzzo in particular, in the complaint. The 6.3 billion claimed in the lawsuit represent the 628,000 subscribers that Ms. Saravia had when she ended her relationship with Mr. Hunter.

She is looking to get $10,000 per subscriber who has seen said images.

The ex-couple also maintains a civil lawsuit for domestic violence, submitted to Broward County, Florida.
