Return to normal in progress at Tesla after server failure

(Washington) Tesla boss Elon Musk assured Friday night on Twitter that the situation should return to order, after a server failure that prevented the brand’s cars from starting for several hours.

“It should come back online now,” said Elon Musk, who reported a problem with traffic on the network.

“Our apologies, we will take action to ensure that this does not happen again,” he added.

Earlier, he replied to a South Korean Tesla user who said he was facing a server problem to connect his Tesla Model 3 to his application on Apple. This driver had explained that he could not start his car with his phone, but only thanks to the key in the form of a card that he had with him.

Other testimonies on Twitter reported this breakdown: “I am stuck an hour from home because I normally use my phone to start my car”, “I cannot open my car”.

“HUNDREDS of Tesla owners are stuck outside their cars […]. I am one of them. They said that we would help the environment by owning an electric car, but “walking” is not what I thought, ”quipped another user, explaining that he did have his card, but that she had remained in the passenger compartment of the car.

Identical testimonies had been reported on the social network from several countries, including the United States, Canada, Denmark, and even Germany.
