On the evening of Monday October 16, an armed man killed two Swedish fans in the city center of Brussels. Throughout the night, the police hunted down this individual who claims to be from the Islamic State. He was shot dead Tuesday morning.

He takes the time to prepare his weapon, before shooting several times at vehicles. He gets back on his scooter, then chases the passengers of a taxi on foot. With his weapon raised to the sky, he shouts “Allahu akbar“before fleeing.
The suspect killed
The witnesses are prostrate. “JI couldn’t move, I stayed frozen in the moment.”testifies a man. The shooting took place in downtown Brussels. There are two dead and one injured, Swedish supporters who went to the King Baudoin Stadium for a football match. On social networks, the shooter claims having killed Swedes saying they wanted to avenge the Muslims. His face and his name Abdesalem L. quickly made the front page of television.In the stadium, supporters are confined for more than 2h30before leaving under heavy police surveillance. The assailant is being sought by all the police. Controls are reinforced at the border. Tuesday morning, a witness spotted the suspect, seated on the terrace of a café. He was neutralized by the police and died shortly after.
