The holidays are not yet for the astronaut Thomas Pesquet. Many exams await him. Explanations.

Thomas Pesquet is back on earth. After his landing on the night of Monday 8 to Tuesday 9 November, the French astronaut must now get back in shape for three weeks in Cologne (Germany). Upon his arrival on Earth on Tuesday morning, Thomas Pesquet reassured the doctor, with a cheerful gesture that signified he was in great shape and morale was good.

However, after six months of weightlessness, the astronaut was unable to stand up. First transferred to Houston (United States), Thomas Pesquet was expected Tuesday evening at the Cologne Space Center (Germany), where his rehabilitation to Earth will be closely monitored. Despite two hours of exercise each day, mandatory in the space station, Thomas Pesquet lost, in six months, 6% bone mass and its cardiovascular system, among others, is weakened. After the medical tests, the astronaut will still be entitled to a few days of vacation, well deserved!
