Return of “La petite vie” on TV this Saturday

It’s this Saturday that the first of six new chapters of The little life will be broadcast on ICI Télé, bringing us back into the wacky daily life of the Paré family – with a quick appearance from Moman – for one last lap, 30 years after the very first episodes.

As revivals are always popular, Claude Meunier was convinced to bring new adventures to his characters. The author and actor would, however, have preferred that the episodes be offered beforehand on TV, but the public broadcaster preferred to upload them first on its paid platform ICI Tou.tv Extra, last fall. Meunier said this on the sidelines of the press viewing on October 2, in front of the bosses of Radio-Canada.

Moman (Serge Thériault) only makes a brief appearance in the sixth and final episode, leaving plenty of room for the parallel world in which Ti-Mé (Claude Meunier) – who misses his sweetheart -, Thérèse (Diane Lavallée), Réjean (Marc Messier), Rénald (Marc Labrèche), Lison (Josée Deschênes), Rod (Bernard Fortin), Pogo (Rémy Girard), Linda (Sylvie Potvin) and Caro (Guylaine Tremblay). They have all aged, but remain free electrons who experience absurd situations. Moman, however, is omnipresent in conversations.

The same team is back on screen, but also behind the scenes, like Josée Fortier as screenwriting advisor and director, as well as Pierre Séguin as director. We also shoot in the same locations.

Produced by Avanti-Toast, the six new episodes of The little life will be broadcast on ICI Télé starting Saturday, February 10, at 6:30 p.m.
