The Vancouver restaurant Published on Main sits at the top of the charts.

Published on Main, a restaurant in Vancouver, won the award for best restaurant this year, followed by the excellent Toronto gourmet table Alo in second place. The St. Lawrence, a Vancouver restaurant dedicated to Quebec and French cuisine, owned by Quebec chef Jean-Christophe Poirier, completes the top 3. In fourth position, appears the renowned restaurant Pearl Morissette, located on the vineyard of the same name, at Jordan Station in Ontario, then Langdon Hall, in Cambridge, in fifth position, a table that showcases local and seasonal products.

Vin Mon Lapin appears in sixth position. The establishment of chef Marc-Olivier Frappier and sommelier Vanya Filipovic has stood out with its expansion, carried out while the dining rooms were closed, its way of making vegetables shine and its daring combinations of local ingredients.

Otherwise, many establishments in Montreal, as well as certain restaurants in Quebec City or in the region, are named in this list. Among them, several classics and established places, but also some new arrivals. All make it into the top 50: Beba (16e position), Monarch (17e), L’Express (21e), Le Mouso (24e), Joe Beef (26e), Montreal Plaza (31e), Pastel (39e), Pichai (45e) and Jun I (49e).

Vin Papillon, Alma, Maison Publique, Nora Gray, Milos, Marconi, La Tanière, Gia, Île Flottante, La Cabane d’à Côté, Les Fougères, Mastard, Beau Mont, Paloma, Battuto, Elena and ARVI are also named in the last segment of the chart, which includes positions 51 to 100.

A list of the 20 best new restaurants in the country was also unveiled simultaneously. Major Tom in Toronto comes first. It includes the following Quebec establishments: Pichai, Gia and Mastard.
