A collective of Ukrainian activists ensures that the Russian lieutenant-colonel, Azatbek Omurbekov, is the officer responsible for the massacre in Boutcha (Ukraine). Russia declares that its army has committed no abuse in Ukraine.
It is a macabre count that seems endless: in the cemetery of Boutcha (Ukraine), the Ukrainian authorities list the men and women among the many body bags on the ground. They died during the occupation of the city by the Russian army and according to some Ukrainian volunteers, many of the victims were executed. A collective of Ukrainian activists claims to have found the one responsible for this massacre: it would be Azatbek Omurbekov, a Russian lieutenant-colonel.
He was the officer in charge of the brigade which had occupied Boutcha. If his involvement is proven, he is probably not solely responsible for the abuses committed in Ukraine. A woman testifies and declares that she was raped by Russian soldiers because she is married to a Ukrainian soldier. Ukrainian authorities collect dozens of similar testimonies every day. Moscow (Russia) responds by asserting that Russian troops have not committed abuses in Ukraine.
