The First British Minister Liz Truss announced his resignation on Thursday, October 20. An internal vote by the Conservative Party should make it possible to appoint his replacement by next week. In London, some Britons appeared relieved by the withdrawal.

Thursday October 20, outside 10 Downing street in London (UK)dozens of Britons gathered to boo the First minister Liz Trusswho resigned. After the announcement of his withdrawal, many expressed their relief. “I think that with what has happened since his appointment, particularly for two weeks, it is the right decision”said one of them. “We picked someone who doesn’t understand what’s going on. It gives a bad image of us as country”, add another.

Who will succeed Liz? Truss ? Among the potential candidates, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson could well return to the race. “No way, I don’t want him back. Out of the question”answers a Briton. The next British Prime Minister should be appointed by next week.
