The tone is hardening in Paris. The ultra supporters of PSG called, Saturday, March 12, the Parisian management to the “resignation”a first since the arrival of the Qatari owners in 2011, after the new “disillusionment” suffered Wednesday in the round of 16 of the Champions League against Real Madrid (3-1 defeat in the return match).
“Leadership Resignation”wrote the Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP) after this new early elimination in the European queen event, calling on Twitter for supporters to join them in “show our displeasure”, “without violence”during the Ligue 1 match against Bordeaux, Sunday (1:00 p.m.).
“We know what our return owes to President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, there is nothing personal here but it is clear that he is not the man for the job. The situation of the club now requires a complete reorganization at all levels and the daily presence of its president”asserts in a press release the CUP, which brings together various ultra groups of PSG.
It’s time…

The CUP castigates in passing the club’s lack of a game plan and the policy of sporting director Leonardo, with a recruitment qualified as“stack of stars with little or no complement”like the transfer window last summer, which saw PSG attract Lionel Messi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos and Georginio Wijnaldum.
The players themselves are not spared: the CUP denounces their low investment in national competitions, played “at a senator’s pace”or even their lack of closeness to the supporters.
The club’s ultra supporters had already expressed their anger in February, deserting their usual stand at the Parc des Princes during the first 25 minutes of the Ligue 1 match against Rennes (1-0). In a banner, they had sent a message to Leonardo, asking him if he was not “time to clear”.
Paris SG, solid leader of the L1, only has the title of champion of France to run for in a gloomy season where the club lost the Trophée des champions in August, then was eliminated in turn from the Coupe de France and the Champions League, one of the worst records since the arrival of the Qatari fund QSI in 2011.
