In the middle of December, and for two months, the residents of a condominium no longer have heat. They blame landlords who haven’t paid their bills, as well as dilapidated buildings.
In Villepinte (Seine-Saint-Denis), a resident has had no heating in her apartment for almost two months, Wednesday December 13. At home, it is almost the same temperature as outside. Like her, nearly 3,000 people were affected in a co-ownership of several buildings. Although the heating has returned for many, around fifty residents remain in the cold.
The prefecture informed of the situation
A mother purchased additional heating. Mold appears everywhere in his apartment due to the humidity. She has tried several times to alert her landlord and the trustee, but she feels abandoned. According to a group of residents, this situation is due to unpaid bills by certain owners and dilapidated buildings. The prefecture has been informed of the situation. Residents expect renovation work by the end of 2024.
