To avoid the rush, time slots have been determined for the reservation of some 7,000 campsites and nearly 600 ready-to-camp units in the various SEPAQ parks and tourist establishments.

Thus, the reservation period will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 12 with Frontenac, Gaspésie, Lac-Témiscouata and Pointe-Taillon parks. At 11 a.m. it will be the turn of Bic and Yamaska parks, followed at 2 p.m. by Aiguebelle, Grands-Jardins, Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie, Îles-de-Boucherville, Jacques-Cartier and Okay. Reservations for the Mont-Tremblant park will begin at 8 a.m. on Sunday, November 13, after which reservations for the Fjord-du-Saguenay, Mont-Mégantic, Monts-Valin, Opémican and Plaisance parks will follow at 11 a.m. the Voltigeurs campground, the Lac-Kénogami tourist center and the Lac-Simon tourist center. The whole thing will end at 2 p.m. with Mont-Orford Park. It is already possible to reserve a campsite or a ready-to-camp unit in a wildlife reserve.

It is also worth noting that the priority rank will be given randomly to customers who access the virtual waiting room in the minutes preceding the opening of the different reservation slots. No need to call or book online well in advance. The principle of first come first served will however apply thereafter. To facilitate transactions, however, it is advisable to create a customer account by visiting the SEPAQ website. There is also a lot of useful information for planning trips.

This will also be an opportunity to obtain the annual Québec National Parks card, which gives unlimited daily access to all national parks in the SEPAQ network. The card also grants cardholders certain advantages, such as a free night’s camping during the week as well as discounts in stores and on access to the Aquarium du Québec and the ASTROLab of Mont Mégantic.
