Research section stops: Fabienne Carat and Linda Hardy, radiant and accomplices for the grand finale

It’s almost the big day! Thursday April 21, 2022 will be broadcast on TF1 on very last episode of the series Research section. After 14 successful seasons, a final point was put to the fiction through a double-episode entitled New start. It was at the end of last year that this one was shot in Nice.

At that time, all the actors of the show had gathered for a promotional photo shoot, even some older ones who had been most seen for several years: Xavier Deluc (captain Martin Bernier), Franck Sémonin (who plays Lucas Auriol), Hélène Godec ( Anouk Dubosc), Elise Tielrooy (Ariel Grimau), Stéphane Soo Mongo (Alexandre Sainte-Rose), Jean-Pascal Lacoste (Luc Irrandonéa), Félicité Chaton (alias Victoire Cabral), Chrystelle Labaude (Nadia Angeli), Linda Hardy (Claire Linsky ) and again Fabienne Carat. (See our slideshow).

The latter had recently arrived for season 14 in the role of Commander Jeanne Lorieux in 2019. In a short time, Fabienne Carat was nevertheless able to quickly feel like family on the set, and even more so when she was pregnant. Indeed, for the double final episode, the ex-star of More beautiful life was expecting the birth of her daughter Celeste (born December 6, 2021). And it is quite naturally that her pregnancy was incorporated into the script. Thus, just a few days after giving birth, Fabienne Carat returned to work and found a fake pregnant belly there to complete the plot.

Looking back, this period was very intense for the 42-year-old actress. “It is with great emotion and concealed modesty that I am going to share with you the last moments of my real pregnancy in fiction. I am full of gratitude to have been able to live and do this shoot at the very end of this adventure as a future mother… Yes at the last moment… to the point that a few scenes were shot after I gave birth with a fake belly“, she wrote on Instagram.

Fabienne Carat took advantage of her post to highlight the difficulty that some women may encounter in becoming a mother, like her character Jeanne Lorieux. “I am proud, thanks to this role of representing all these women who fight every day to have a child thanks to PMA, I am moved to represent these women who have a child on their own. I am happy to carry a message of love“, she concluded.
