The entrance to a 73-year-old grandmother’s house was blackened by the start of a fire. “They came to kill us, to kill our young people for no reason, she says. In the house there were only women and small children. They were screaming and shouting, it was hell. I was very afraid for my children.”
“They tried to set fire to the house while there was an entire family inside.”

The attack lasted several hours, according to Amar, just 18. He wears a bandage around his head. “They were masked, all armed. They advanced insulting us in Hebrew. One of the settlers threw a stone at my head. I lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital where I was treated.”he says.

They came out to defend it, to protect it. It was very hard. They want us to leave, but we have nowhere to go. This is our land. We were born here.” And according to residents, the attackers came from the small settlement of Khavat Gil’ad, just two kilometers away, on the outskirts of the Palestinian city of Nablus.
