Less than two months before the presidential election in the United States, the campaign is focusing on a few key states, which could swing one way or the other, Democrat or Republican, on November 5. This is the case of Wisconsin, with nearly six million inhabitants and ten highly coveted electors. In 2016, Trump came out on top. Four years ago, it was Biden. So it was here, on the runways of Mosinee airport, that Donald Trump held a rally on Saturday, September 7. With one credo: defend freedoms, including his own.

The day after the announcement of the postponement of his sentencing, it was a triumphant Donald Trump who landed on the tarmac, wearing a red Make America Great Again cap. “The Manhattan District Attorney’s witch hunt against me has been postponed because everyone realizes there is no case since I did nothing wrong,” he boasts.

The former president continues his usual speech: “Under Biden and Harris, your government has imported murderers, child predators, serial rapists from around the world.” “If Kamala Harris comes to powerhe continues, it will be uncontrolled immigration, the disappearance of Israel, inflation again.”

SOn Rick’s T-shirt is a picture of Donald Trump, his ear covered in blood, his fist raised after his assassination attempt. “I hope I never have to give up my weapons, that inflation goes down, that there are no more wars. I want to keep what I own, not be taxed for everything I do. And I don’t want the government controlling every part of my life.”

“He is the only one who can save us.”

A little further on, Rachel and Matt are doing a few dance steps. At 26 and 32, they came from the Milwaukee area to boost the number of participants, to show the strength of the Republicans two months before the vote, Matt assures. “I wanted to be here too, because I think that numbers count in meetings. The more of us there are, the more people will feel that there is a movement, a dynamic,” he assures.

Matt is as confident as ever that with Donald Trump as president“we will have less conflict in the world, the United States will be in a better position to stop all these deaths in the war between Russia and Ukraine, what is happening in Israel. All this did not happen when Trump was president, he was taken more seriously and governed better.”

In the aisles, activists are asking everyone to come out and knock on doors, speaking out to convince neighbors and family to vote for Trump. He fell just 20,000 votes short of winning Wisconsin four years ago.
