Quebec reports on Monday a new death attributed to COVID-19, for a total of 15,450 since the start of the pandemic.
A total of 3,670 healthcare workers are currently absent from the network for reasons related to COVID-19, such as preventive withdrawal or isolation.
The Ministry of Health has also indicated that due to a change in methodology, data for hospitalizations and intensive care are no longer counted on weekends. They will now be updated from Tuesday to Saturday.
On Monday, 368 new cases of COVID-19 were reported, for a total of 1,069,520 since the start of the pandemic. However, the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centers is restricted to priority clienteles.
A total of 216,065 rapid tests have been self-reported so far on the government platform, including 177,280 positives. For the day on Sunday, 216 tests were declared, including 186 positive.
As for vaccination, 2087 doses were administered in the last 24 hours in Quebec.
