“Twitter will obey the law [européenne]“, assures Elon Musk. “If a law is enacted, Twitter is committed to respecting it”says the boss of the social network. At the end of May, Twitter has withdrawn from the European code of practice against misinformationinitiating a new showdown between the platform and the European Union.
Elon Musk defends the use of artificial intelligence “wisely”. “Even before we have super-intelligent artificial intelligence, there is the risk that people will use this technology for bad purposes. To manipulate public opinion”, alerted the boss of Twitter, Tesla and SpaceX. “Artificial intelligence could create enough anger on social networks to start a war: it’s possible!”, he added again.
“My dream is to advance human civilization,” says Elon Musk. Guest of the 20 hours of France 2, the billionaire declared that “the Earth is just a small candle lit in the dark and we must do everything we can to keep it from going out”. He insisted on the “fragility” of civilization.
