Caroline Monnet directed the film Bootlegger.

Aboriginal fiction has the wind in its sails with productions as varied as Beans and Blood Quantum. Now is the perfect time to take the pulse of the situation with panelists like Alanis Obomsawin, Sonia Bonspille-Boileau (Rusticle Oracle), Caroline Monnet (Bootlegger) and Jason Brennan (the inhuman) who will discuss, in particular, the evolution, themes and issues of Aboriginal cinema.

The dream and the radio

The RVQCs are not lacking in interesting novelties, whether Noémie says yes (opening movie), Ines and The cheaters (closing movie). We can also discover The dream and the radio by Renaud Després-Larose and Ana Tapia Rousiouk in North American premiere, after a detour to the prestigious festivals of Rotterdam and Berlin. It is a fascinating opus in many respects, playful and experimental, on the desires of revolution of youth. A huge crush on this essay that Jean-Luc Godard would not have denied.
