In 1999, Renaud crossed for the first time the gaze of Romane Serda. Together, the lovers became parents of a little boy named Malone born July 14, 2006, a year after their marriage and a week after the death of Renaud’s father. Five years later, the couple separated. Gone to live with his mother following the separation of his parents, the young Malone very rarely sees his father. Also feeling no resentment against his ex-wife Romane Serda, Renaud divorced Malone’s mother in 2011. Interviewed by Paris Match, this one told the reasons for their separation. Shocked by the death of his father, Renaud was at the time very fragile psychologically often the victim of “paranoid attacks“.”He was convinced he was being spied on by the Soviets she confided. I felt like I was living with two children. (…) I understood that, for Malone, for me, we had to separate.“
