Renaud Lavillenie is a happy man and he has reason to be. Olympic pole vault champion in 2012, he marked the history of his sport by beating the world record two years later, becoming a little more legendary. A true star of athletics, he continues, at 35, to perform at the highest level and during the French Championships last weekend, he still finished second, missing out on a 19th title. Alongside his fine career, the athlete shares his life with Anaïs Poumarat, a pole vaulter with whom he has been in a relationship since December 2007.
The two lovers got married in September 2018 and they have two children together. A little Iris born in July 2017 and a little Gabin born just 4 months ago, on February 28, 2022. The young dad is totally gaga about his newborn and the couple shared a cute video when their son arrived home after leaving the maternity ward . But time passes and it has therefore now been four months since the little brunette with the face of an angel entered the life of Renaud Lavillenie and his wife. Gabin can already count on his big sister!
