Removal of his father’s name | Shiloh Jolie-Pitt requests name change

The daughter of actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Shiloh, initiated legal proceedings to remove the name of her famous father from her identification papers, on her 18the birthday, Monday.

Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt filed her petition in Los Angeles County Superior Court on May 27 to change her name to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, the Los Angeles Times.

She is the third of six children of the former actor couple. Shiloh, one of Jolie-Pitt’s three biological children, was born in Swakopmund, Namibia on May 27, 2006. Her siblings include Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and twins Knox and Vivienne.

Shiloh, who lends her voice to one of the characters in the film Kung Fu Panda 3 is the first child of Jolie-Pitt stars to request a legal name change. However, other children of these Hollywood stars have abandoned the public use of their father’s last name in recent years, the Times.
