In one image, we see Camille, 24, radiant and ready to give birth to her first child. His daughter was born on November 25 at Remiremont hospital in the Vosges. But a few months later, during a family New Year’s Eve in the South, the mother suffered a serious haemorrhage. “I was in tremendous pain. After a while, I get up, I have a lot of blood on the floor. I had already lost a lot of blood before arriving at the hospital in Avignon (Vaucluse). I saw myself no longer being there for my daughter and my husband”she recalls.

“Being heard” through justice

Camille accuses the medical team of having left a piece of placenta in her body after she gave birth and has since regretted not having had a satisfactory answer. She then decides to file a complaint. “I want, through justice, to have recognition and to be heard”, explains Camilla. This accusation is in addition to those of other patients at the Vosges hospital. A husband wants to understand why his wife died in 2018 from pancreatitis, women, why their mother died after femoral neck surgery last summer. The lawyer for the establishment recalled, Tuesday, June 6, that the hospital is not currently the subject of legal proceedings.
