Failed again. Faced with its thousands of tifosis, Ferrari once again did not hold up. Charles Leclerc, however, started from pole position in the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday March 11. The Monegasque dreamed of a fourth victory this season, on a circuit he has already tamed (2019). But he couldn’t do anything against Max Verstappen.
At the wheel of his Red Bull, the reigning world champion, who started in seventh position, managed a new rise to the top positions. After an end of the race under safety car, the Dutchman crossed the line without shaking. He thus increases his lead in the Formula 1 world championship after 16 out of 22 races. He is ahead of Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and George Russell (Mercedes).
