Max Verstappen continues his march forward. The Dutchman won another victory this season, his seventh in nine races, on Sunday July 2, on the track of the Spielberg circuit in Austria. In a Grand Prix marked by penalties for exceeding track limits (targeting Sainz and Hamilton among others), the Red Bull driver remained serious and intractable. Enough to sign his 42nd career success, and overtake Ayrton Senna in the history books of the discipline.

Verstappen was ahead of Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) and his teammate Sergio Perez, author of a good comeback, from 15th place to the podium. The race was a bit tougher for Alpine’s Frenchmen Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, stuck in traffic and unable to show their true pace. They finished 9th and 12th, their starting position on the grid.
