“A serious profession” is a film which is released in cinemas on Wednesday September 13. The highly anticipated film is about the profession of teacher.
Vincent Lacoste, François Cluzet and Adèle Exarchopoulos are the three motivated teachers in Thomas’ new film Lilti, A serious job. The film retraces everyday lifein within a college and shows that their passion for teaching is stronger than the difficulties encountered. But which students were they? “Excessively dissipated, excessively disconcerting”François Cluzet. “We were 13, we all smoked”he continues.
A difficult job
“Until college, I had it easy. Afterwards, I have never had no working method, so I was bad at writing”underlines Vincent Lacoste. “I was a mediocre student, very rigorous in my mediocrity”says Adèle Exarchopoulos. The real role of composition ist made for the three actors, who do not imagine themselves becoming a teacher, realizing that it is a vocation and a talent.
