The Blues are finding color again. Two weeks after its unexpected and historic draw (13-13) at home against Italy, the French XV won an encouraging victory, with the offensive bonus, on the lawn of Wales (45-24) , in the boiling Millennium Stadium, Sunday March 10.
In an open match, during which the two teams offered an enticing game, Fabien Galthié’s men ended up getting the better of their opponents thanks to a decisive try from Georges-Henri Colombe, for his first selection, and last twenty conquering minutes marked by three tries. And this, despite some air gaps and defensive scares which allowed the Welsh to flatten three times in the in-goal area.

Entering the game around ten minutes ago, the pillar of Stade Rochelais, Georges-Henri Colombe allows the Blues to take control of this match of the 6 Nations Tournament against Wales. After a long sequence of domination, the French managed to cross the goal line thanks to the power of their pillar who scored his first try for his debut with the national team.
After a disappointing start to the Tournament, the Blues signed a victory that was a little more accomplished in content, especially offensive, and raised their heads. They will try to maintain this positive dynamic to end the Tournament on a good note, against England in Lyon next Saturday (9 p.m.). As for the Welsh, they will try to avoid a fifth defeat synonymous with Wooden Spoon, when Italy comes.
