(Inglewood) The NFL will host a regular season game in Munich, Germany next season.

Commissioner Roger Goodell announced it on Wednesday ahead of the Super Bowl, which will take place on Sunday evening.
The clash in Munich will be part of four matches overseas, including at least two in London.
By the 2025 season, inclusive, there will also be one additional match in Munich and two in Frankfurt.
Goodell also mentioned that it’s surreal to be in Los Angeles again for a Super Bowl.
The area hasn’t hosted the big game since 1993, in Pasadena.
The second largest market in the United States has gone several years without an NFL team.
The Rams returned to L.A. in 2016.
SoFi Stadium was inaugurated in September 2020. Goodell believes that with such an asset, the Super Bowl will be held on a regular basis in Southern California.
The next three Super Bowl games will take place in Arizona, Las Vegas and New Orleans.
In terms of hiring visible minority head coaches, Goodell said it’s too early to draw conclusions about the interview process.
If the process needs to be changed, there’s a need to know how and experts from outside the NFL could help with that, the commissioner said.
“We’re not going to tolerate racism and we’re not going to tolerate discrimination,” Goodell said, including the lawsuit from former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores.
Goodell said he and other league executives have spoken with Byron Allen about his interest in buying the Denver Broncos.
There is no black majority owner in the NFL. Shad Khan of the Jaguars and Kim Pegula of the Bills are minority owners.
