The Jura massif and Switzerland are in the spotlight on the Tour de France. In a splendid and demanding setting, the runners will set off on Saturday July 9 from the little Venice of the Jura, Dole, towards Lausanne and its Olympic stadium (186.3 km). It’s a legbreaking course that awaits the peloton, and therefore a golden opportunity for the fighters to seek a stage victory, which has become a rare commodity on this Grande Boucle where Tadej Pogacar has reigned for the past two days.

With four climbs listed, two fourth category and two third category, there will also be points up for grabs for the polka dot jersey classification. If, however, a breakaway had not taken off enough, the coast of the Olympic stadium in the Vaud city (4.8 km at 4.6%) should suit puncher-sprinter profiles to raise their arms on the line.
