I largely agree with what Mr.me Senneville, of the CSN, which appeared in The duty of Monday. The action of decentralizing in the health network effectively means giving more authority locally, in the care and living units. It is those who work in the field who know what is going on and, as nurses have recently proven in various regions of Quebec, who can adjust and better distribute the resources that will continue to be insufficient for some time. at least. But to bring about any improvement, any decentralization must be accompanied by corresponding accountability. The decentralized power to act entails the duty to answer for one’s actions.
