Red Wings defeat Golden Knights 5-2

(Detroit) Three goals in 10:11 in the first period led the Detroit Red Wings to a 5-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday.



Nicolas Roy of the visitors was the game’s first scorer in the fourth minute.

But Lucas Raymond fought back in a five-on-three, Robby Fabbri also scored superior and Pius Suter completed the push, at 6:28 pm in the first twenty.

Vladislav Namestnikov and Tyler Bertuzzi managed the Wings’ other goals, which were able to count on 38 saves by Thomas Greiss.
