The film crew the cobbler walked the red carpet Monday night at the Imperial Cinema for the Montreal premiere of this period drama directed by François Bouvier (The Bolduc). Inspired by a series of novels of the same title by Pauline Gill, the feature film stars actress Rose-Marie Perreault as Victoire Du Sault, the first woman to work as a shoemaker in Quebec in the 19e century. Pierre-Yves Cardinal, Anick Lemay, Élise Guilbault and Jeff Boudreault are also part of the cast of this film which hits theaters across Quebec on Friday.
