Red Bull Cliff Diving | Molly Carlson crowned in front of her family

The bar was high. But Montrealer Molly Carlson was able to surpass it, despite all the pressure her opponent had imposed on her. She won the first edition of Red Bull Cliff Diving in Canada, which took place in Montreal.

Australian Rhiannan Iffland finished second, with American Kaylea Arnett closing the podium.

Molly Carlson delivered her best dive of the competition on Sunday, culminating in a score of 368.1 points, 14 points behind her nearest competitor.

For her part, Montreal’s Simone Leathead finished in ninth place. She had started the competition on the wrong foot, completing the worst dive of this edition on Monday. This time, she wowed the crowd by completing a dive with a high coefficient of difficulty.

A third Canadian, Aimee Harrison, also competed in the invitational competition. She placed 12the and last place. The Winnipegger completed her best dive in Montreal on Sunday.

More details to come.
