A sale of limited edition records. The event is organized on Saturday April 23 to support the 220 independent record stores remaining in France, which will sell, in a few hours, unreleased recordings. It’s guaranteed adrenaline for collectors, who are already trying their luck on the phone. “Generally, the average basket is between 150 and 200 euros”says record store William Guitton.

Beyond the artistic interest, these discs will be collector soon. Record stores have an ethic, customers can only buy one copy of the same record on Record Store Day, to avoid speculation. “If I really find pieces that I’ve been waiting for a long time or that I’m looking for, sometimes we pay the price”says a collector.
