Record incidence rate in the Lot, which opens a large vaccination center in Cahors

Never has the Lot experienced such a high incidence rate. At the height of the fourth wave, last August, the incidence rate reached 322. This time, it exceeds 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Health establishments have also been under pressure for a few weeks with 41 people being hospitalized, including 5 in intensive care. The complete immunization coverage reaches 86.5% of the population. The Lot has 14 vaccination centers spread throughout the territory, and the authorities regularly organize ephemeral operations such as that of Sdis allowing vaccination without appointment in Cahors and Figeac, on weekends.

From Tuesday by appointment

This Friday, the health and state authorities announced the opening of a large capacity vaccination center at Espace Valentré, in Cahors. The center will be open, initially, from Tuesday 14 to Sunday 19 December, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., non-stop, by appointment, by registering on Doctolib or on sante.fr.
