Never has the Lot experienced such a high incidence rate. At the height of the fourth wave, last August, the incidence rate reached 322. This time, it exceeds 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Health establishments have also been under pressure for a few weeks with 41 people being hospitalized, including 5 in intensive care. The complete immunization coverage reaches 86.5% of the population. The Lot has 14 vaccination centers spread throughout the territory, and the authorities regularly organize ephemeral operations such as that of Sdis allowing vaccination without appointment in Cahors and Figeac, on weekends.
From Tuesday by appointment
This Friday, the health and state authorities announced the opening of a large capacity vaccination center at Espace Valentré, in Cahors. The center will be open, initially, from Tuesday 14 to Sunday 19 December, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., non-stop, by appointment, by registering on Doctolib or on sante.fr.
People over the age of 30 will be vaccinated with the Moderna vaccine and people between the ages of 18 and 30 will be vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine. This distinction must be made when making an appointment on Doctolib, otherwise you will be automatically blocked by the application, and not be able to access an appointment.
Slots are also available in the Cahors vaccination center, located atClément Marot space, and the vaccination center of Figeac.
