Reconquest activists want to remain “very optimistic about the score” of their party

Last days of campaigning for candidates for the European elections and last meetings. For Marion Maréchal and Éric Zemmour, this took place on the evening of Wednesday June 5 with a thousand sympathizers gathered at the port of Nice. A meeting that was not full. The Reconquest party is struggling a little in voting intentions, barely above the 5% threshold necessary to send elected officials to Strasbourg, but its activists are trying to remain optimistic.

Tristan and Thierry wave their blue-white-red flags while shouting the name of their candidate. They are convinced: their favorite list will exceed the 5% threshold. “We are going to go between 6 and 8% very widely. I am very positive, very optimistic about the score.”

But they are aware of it, Eric Zemmour’s voters in 2022 can very well vote for Les Républicains or prefer to increase the score of the National Rally. What particularly annoys Anne: “Jordan Bardella is ‘Mr. is not here’ because he never goes to Parliament. Don’t vote Bardella, vote Marion! She’s the best.”

An injunction which shows feverishness. Besides, Sandra wonders how Reconquest could survive if it still couldn’t get elected officials: “There will perhaps be a collective disappointment among voters. So it’s true that it’s not easy.”

Jean-Luc also wonders. According to him, the party could survive but not play the leading roles in the next presidential election. “Neither Marion Maréchal nor Éric Zemmour will be able to play a role in the electionbelieves the activist. When a candidate collects more than 30% of the votes, it will be difficult to remove him from the game.” His hope is that Jordan Bardella achieves the famous union of the rights advocated by Éric Zemmour.
