Ranger SuperCab belts

For Ford, 3,215 2019-2021 SuperCab Ranger pickups are affected by a seat belt issue. According to the Transport Canada file, “the driver’s and / or front passenger’s seat belts may not be routed correctly through the anchor eyelets”. This can obviously limit their effectiveness in the event of an accident.

Ford will be mailing instructions to owners to test them before they hit the road. If they fail these tests, the manufacturer urges them to make an appointment with their dealer to correct the problem.

Oil leak on some Santa Fe

On the Hyundai side, 49,845 Santa Fe models from 2007 to 2009 model years will need repair. The cylinder head cover gasket may leak, leaking oil onto the alternator. This can then stop working, which would drain the battery and could cause the engine to stop unexpectedly.

A low battery charge indicator light would come on, however, indicating a possible problem. If this happens, Hyundai encourages owners to make an appointment with their dealership. They will be notified of this recall by mail. Note that this reminder replaces an earlier reminder.

Suspension problem at Tesla

Finally, Tesla Model 3 (2019 to 2021) and Model Y (2020 and 2021) could also have to make a stop in a workshop of the mark to correct a problem in terms of the assembly of the front suspensions.

The tie rod bolts may have been loose, which could cause the tie rods to come loose from the vehicle’s subframe. This recall is not of immense importance in terms of volume, while only 270 copies are affected, but this defect can have a tangible effect on road behavior and make the vehicle unstable.
