Kylian Mbappé’s first match with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium ended in victory. The Madrid footballers won 3-0 on Sunday, August 25 against Valladolid, on the second day of La Liga, the Spanish championship. After seven years at PSG, the captain of the Blues was making his big debut on the Bernabéu pitch, in his new Real jersey, and he was rather discreet.
It’s an understatement to say that he was expected by the Santiago Bernabéu crowd. While Kylian Mbappé received a warm welcome, he was rather disappointing despite two clear chances, with two shots on target. Adrian, a Real Madrid fan, is still satisfied: “He played very well. It’s the first game, he needs time to adapt. Next time it will be better, I’m sure, and he will score a lot of goals this season.”
