Condominium fees are soaring in France. Despite the tariff shield put in place by the government, some may have difficulty paying.
Condominium fees are increasing very sharply in France. “It was around 100, 120 euros, and we went to 250“laments a user. Soaring gas prices are one of the main factors behind this increase. For all, this aid is considered insufficient. Payment defaults are feared, which could prevent condominiums from financing works or renovations, and even from paying the salaries of the caretaker of the buildings.
